Introduction:
The process of pH control is a unit consisting of the process control of pH control. The control is done by acting on a pneumatic
valve.

Possible exercises by the apparatus:
Demonstration of proportional, integral, and derivative control of apparatus.
Demonstration of measuring instruments of pH control.
Demonstration of tuning techniques of controllers.
Determination of dead time, response and characteristics of process.

Technical Parameters:
All components are mounted on a framework of stainless steel with suitable AWG to withstand the load of
equipment and all components of equipment. The apparatus is equipped with reactor tank of capacity of 1.1 liters.
Two separate tanks for acidic and basic solutions are installed with capacity of 21 liters each. Final product is
collected at a tank with capacity of 42 liters. An electronic pH transmitter with range of 0-14 pH and 3.5-21 milli
ampere (mA) output. A metering pump with 3.5-21 milli ampere (mA) output is installed. The apparatus is supplied
with a compressor along with female valves of 1⁄4 inches for compressed air with 4.2 newton cubic meter per hour
(Nm3/h) at 6.5 bar.

▪ The apparatus is equipped with PID controller, all necessary piping, valves, a tap water valve of 1⁄2 inches hose
connector and safety control.

▪ A software is included for control and data acquisition.
Unit is supplied with handbook for experiments.
