Introduction:
The process of temperature and flow rate control is a unit consisting of the process control of temperature and flow rate control. The control is done by acting on a pneumatic valve.

Demonstration of proportional, integral, and derivative control of apparatus.
Demonstration of measuring instruments of temperature and flow rate.
Demonstration of tuning techniques of controllers.
Controlling flow rate and temperature of process.
Demonstration Cascade control of temperature.

Technical Parameters:
All components are mounted on a framework of stainless steel with suitable AWG to withstand the load of
equipment and all components of equipment. The apparatus is equipped with storage tank and reactor tank with
capacity of 21 liters and 16 liters respectively. A heat exchanger is installed with exchange surface of 0.4 meter
square (m2). A centrifugal pump is installed made up of corrosion-resistant material flow rate Q 2100 liter per hour
(l/h) with head of 11 meter. The apparatus is supplied with a compressor along with female valves of 1⁄4 inches for
compressed air with 1.2 newton cubic meter per hour (Nm3/h) at 6.5 bar.
The apparatus is provided with tap water valve of 1⁄2 inches hose connector, flow measuring device, calibrated
diaphragm. A variable area flow transmitter-indicator with range of 5 to 156 liter per hour l/h installed in the
apparatus.
▪ Two electro pneumatic converters are provided.
▪ Thermometer with range of 0 to 120 °C is supplied.
▪ A Steam generator with production capacity 25 kilo grams per hour kg/h at 5.0 bar is supplied with the
apparatus.
▪ Steam trap and Steam valve of 1⁄2 inches are installed with stream generator.
▪ Pneumatic type valves are installed for controlling the flow rate of liquid and steam. ▪ Differential-pressure transmitter for measuring the flow rate of steam with range 3.5 to 21 milli ampere
(mA) output signal is installed.
▪ The apparatus is equipped with PID controller, all necessary piping, valves, and safety control.
▪ A software is included for control and data acquisition.
