The System Should Cover the Following Training Objectives:

Study of heat transfer processes such as heat transfer and heat conduction

Investigation of the heat transfer coefficient

Visualization of temperature curves for different heat exchangers such as parallel flow, counterflow, cross parallel flow and cross counterflow

Conducting comparison between different heat exchangers such as plate heat exchanger, tubular heat exchanger, shell & tube heat exchanger, finned tube heat exchanger and stirred tank with double jacket and coiled tube

Minimum Technical Specifications Required (like or better than):

Water-water plate heat exchanger with number of plates: 10, heat transfer area: about 0,25m2 and output: 15kW

Water-water tubular heat exchanger with heat transfer area: 0.1m2

Water-water shell and tube heat exchanger with output: 13kW

Water-air finned tube heat exchanger with heat transfer area: about 2.7m2, fan flow rate: 770m3/h and fan pressure difference: 425Pa

Water-water stirred tank with double jacket and coiled tube

─Double jacket heat transfer area: 0.15m2

─Coiled tube heat transfer area: 0.16m2
